Community Members of the Ganaraska Hiking Club are holding an Arbour Day tree sale on Saturday May 14th. The event is being held at the Nordic Centre on Blueberry Trail. All proceeds will be reinvested in The Town of Wasaga Beach for the Youth Club, park benches and other Community focused outdoor activities.
Sale items include many varieties of “Wasaga climate approved” trees including pine, spruce, dogwood, maple, cedar, black walnut white birch and others. Prices range from $2.50 to $4.00
Additionally, the good people at the Community Gardens are holding free workshops. These include Gardening, pest and weed control, edible landscaping, canning and cooking classes. These Community focused events are jointly sponsored by the Town of Wasaga Beach, South Georgian Bay Community Health Centre and the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation.
