Saturday turned out to be one of the most beautiful nights of the summer, and 75 residents turned out to make short work of our 80 pound pig. Organizers Helen and Mary-Lou Hardy put together an awesome night filled with food, fun and companionship. Coleslaw from Beth Carter and applesauce from Maxine Bohaker rounded out the table. Not to mention the best cornbread we have ever tasted. Special thanks to John Guindon and especially John Schneider, who looked after “Porky” all day as he roasted on the coals.
Looking forward to next year!
